Earlier this week, Rachel finished 3 out of 4 of our boat cushions. They turned out really great. Here’s what they look like installed on the boat:

Of course, it was cold and windy at the boat sitting on the hard, but it was worth the trip, because I pulled off all of the spares so that I could do an inventory.
I spent too much time on the internet trying to figure out how to bleed air from the fuel system on our Universal M35. C34.org is not consistent in its forum what to do. I’m sure we will figure it out in a couple of months. Our broker showed the boat again.
So many things happened this week:
- Rachel had Hip surgery. She’s on crutches, therapeutic machines and medicine. Those three items have never been used in association with her so long as I’ve known her.
- Aaron earned his Life Scout achievement. It has been like pulling teeth to get him here. Troop 41 is hands down the best Scouting troop we have ever been part of.
- Matt attempted the practice ACT exam. He didn’t like it, but he also didn’t practice and he woke up 20 minutes beforehand not knowing he signed up to take the test. That didn’t end well!
- Michael got accepted to Texas A&M and NC State. He now has 4 schools to choose from:
- I went grocery shopping with Audrey, and she bought herself a new set of gaming headphones. She chewed the cable on her more expensive set that she got in September. There were so many people shopping and some store shelves were empty. I don’t know what it is, but everyone is buying up the queso dip in all of the stores.
It wouldn’t be Winter in New Jersey without a massive snowstorm threat coming for tomorrow. So I got the snowblower ready with chains installed on the tires, and I salted part of the driveway. Let’s see how this turns out!
Tomorrow is a “snow” day for all students, even though schools are basically 100% virtual right now. Tomorrow will be exciting.
